I prefer capturing people in a natural environment where they feel comfortable and most relaxed. Natural light and familiar surroundings help produce an atmosphere most ideal for capturing the essence of people and children.

Photoshoot sessions can be arranged at home, in a garden or park, or familiar surroundings and takes up to 2 hours. An image CD of selected images is supplied and your choice of enlargements or special prints, depending what you choose for the photoshoot.

Theatre • Performances

During 2008, I was given the opportunity to photograph a dress rehearsal of the Nutcracker ballet performed by mZansi Productions.
The challenges presented by photographing ballet dancers in different lighting situations, anticipating the movements to get that perfect moment, capturing the movement and the story, the individual expressions and group movements...this thrilled and energized me.

Interiors • Food

This area of photography developed as a result of other photographic work I've done. My attention is always drawn by lines, colours, shapes, forms and how everything fit (or sometimes do not fit) together. From this, my interest in photographing interiors and food took form.
